Goldstein Legal’s founder, Roz Goldstein to retire from Leading Goldstein Legal in September 2023
Goldstein Legal, the legal franchising boutique that operates from Nexa, the consultancy platform, announces that founder Roz Goldstein is to retire from leading Goldstein Legal on 1 September 2023.
After starting her career at DLA and then spending 20 years in senior in-house roles, including at O2 and Burger King, Roz launched Goldstein Legal in Windsor in 2006 and has become a leading franchising expert which saw her serve on the board of the British Franchising Association for six years, the maximum term. From 2011, Roz managed Goldstein Legal with Catrina Newman until it was acquired by Nexa in April 2021. At this point, the management was taken over by Nexa’s CEO Nigel Clark and COO, Eliot Hibbert with Roz and Catrina continuing to lead the delivery of legal advice to the brand’s franchising clients.
Going forward, Catrina and the Nexa board will continue to manage Goldstein Legal supported by their team of franchising solicitors comprising Amy Leite, Belquis Ghaleb, Melanie Harrison, Simon Harrison, Abby Minns and Jonathan Hodge. Roz will also continue to assist the team with client work from time to time.
Roz Goldstein said, “`I will miss my colleagues, clients and the franchising community enormously but the time is right for me to retire and I know that Goldstein Legal will thrive under Catrina with the continued support from everyone at Nexa.”

The UK franchising industry continues to flourish and we look forward to seeing how Catrina drives the Goldstein Legal brand forward.
